PERFECT TIMING FOR.... Centipede Boogers

I bought a vintage red military|marching band jacket off ebay.

The size - A monstrosity. A baby elephant could have fit in it.

I spent all of sunday unpicking the armholes, sleeves, side seams & lining.

I've altered the size & now I just need to sew it together.

TA-DA! Fab new jacket awaits. Might finish it on wednesday.

PERFECT TIMING FOR.... Big Bad Wolf

I was sitting on the train on my way home today.

I was wearing jeans and a tshirt, the weather was warm and sunny.

I was listening to great tunes on my ipod.

And I thought, what a wonderful feeling. 

I love when summer approaches. Everything seems warm & happy.

I can't wait till halloween. I think it's a little too early to get excited.

But I love any excuse to dress up & party.

I officially have a ticket to the Marilyn Manson concert in October.

Another thing to be excited about in October. Wow, what a rad month!

Tomorrow, Marie & I are at the Friedrich Gray studio & then we're 

going to feast our eyes upon Anna Banana Wintour in The September Issue.

I've been busting to see that film for ages and I'm finally getting around to it!

I think this editorial in Vogue Italy is pretty freakin amazing

My Sennheiser headphones that I bought 7 months ago have stopped working.

Sad times. 

The left ear phone channels no sound and it's still within warranty period,

but I don't have the original receipt. D U D

SO, I might have to upgrade and replace my wonderful old babies with these bad boys:

Vee's caramel teacup pomeranian, Lola, passed away yesterday.

We were sad. We cried. No more little Lola.

No more surprise visits from her.

No more happy dances and walking fluff ball.

I miss her. And I'm very sad that she wasn't around longer.

Nothing will ever replace her, and we will never forget.

Well I'm home.

And tomorrow I'm off to Rosemount Fashion Festival.

Which will be shocking and boring.

For the first time in a while, I bought Harpers Bazaar today to read on my flight home.

Usually I find it boring as bat shit.

BUT, this issue was pretty damn good!

It came with a special edition booklet with runway images & detail shots of the international shows. And it's spectacular. Lots of visuals which I love.

Even the photo shoots in the magazine were not so bad.

While I was at Grazia Magazine, this trunk of clothing/accessories came back from a Berlin 

shoot that Mark Vassallo styled. And I think this is the photo shoot (above) that it came from. 

I believe that the trunk was sitting at Berlin airport for a while and some rain happened to 

sneak into there!

Now, I love those leopard print jeans. BUT, they're Sass & Bide, which kind of spoils it for me.

PERFECT TIMING FOR.... Fitting Exploration

Today I had my fitting with Dowdy.

Everything was fab.

I saw 2 other models and I think the collection is going to look great on the runway.

I just hope there's champagne before the show.

After the fitting I went exploring around Melbourne.

Some places I've already been to, but others I haven't.

Like a really cool alleyway that was so long and full of graffiti.

I came across a rad bracelet by Stolen Girlfriend's Club.

I think I'll go back on wednesday to get it.
